What was the highlight of D'well Hostel

Nice and clean hostel, well located but to avoid if you have many heavy luggage.

The hostel is quite nice, with a cozy living room, lots of bathrooms, a usable kitchen. I booked a private ensuite which was nice and clean with everything I can need. The breakfast was simple but nice and the location is great.

The reception is on the 3rd floor without elevator and my room was on the 4th. Not ideal if you’re carrying suitcases like me. You will not be helped getting them upstairs.

Propably best stay in Khaosiung but cleanliness bit neglected

For me it's the best hostel in Kaoshiung because of the CP ratio.

The kitchen in the common area is messy and filthy. Guests switch to using tissues to try to clean the cups and plates because the sponge is jucky. One coffee machine is broken for months. The hair dryer on the lobby floor in the men's rooms is broken.

The hostel is located near a metro station and the price to value (CP值) is high. They offer toast for breakfast with chocolate, coconut or peanut spread, as well as coffee and tea.

The Beds were quite hard and there were no curtains dividing the beds.

Common area is good with tables and chairs and free drinks. Washing machines available. And drying space provided

Beds have no curtains. Early sleepers are disturbed by late sleepers till 3 am.

Good

Lobby area is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is free toast and delicious spread. Good value, and great location. Interesting travel books to read in the lobby.

No elevator, so if you have heavy luggage you can either bring it up yourself or wait a minute for the hostel staff to send someone down to help bring it upstairs. Ventilation was poor, particularly in the bathrooms and I would be sweating again as soon as I finished my shower. A bit loud, but that’s more because of the other people in the room than the fault of the hostel. I was the only girl in a room full of guys who snored loudly and moved around a lot with the lights on when I was trying to sleep.

Shower room is big and clean. Rooms space is enough. Laundry is cheap, washing machine is 30, dryer is 30.

Lobby space only has 2 fans. The AC in the lobby room at night isn't cold.

The beds here are super hard and have no curtains, every other hostel I've stayed in Taiwan has had better beds.

What an hostel !!

- Located in the city centre, two minutes walking from the metro station - Free coffe/tea, toast with Nutella, peanut butter or coconut cream are available from 5am in the morning - Spacious and comfortable common area, balcony and also a terrace on the top floor (which I didn’t use) - Extremely quite rooms with a pleasant temperature, I slept amazingly - Kind and professional personnel, I felt welcomed

Very friendly and helpful staff which helped creating a pleasant atmosphere.

I liked how they used the space. You had different areas for different things. I also had to do some work to do and there was no problem doing so.

The clerks are all nice, friendly and helpful ! the location is great ! just a 2 min walk from the metro and is quite close to the shopping district where there u can enjoy diverse kinds of delicious food ! it's a place you must stay in Kaohsiung anyway !

Great service, comfy beds in the dorm rooms, a balcony where you can have a smoke, and super convenient location (5 minute walk from 三多MRT station). All around great spot, and my go-to hostel in 高雄 from now on!

A perfect stay for those who like going on foot

Near MRT, near Mall, near Mcd, near night market, all can be accessed on walking distance.

The locker at the room has no key so I can not put mu laptop in the locker at the room. The smell of “chemical substance” in the bathroom is so strong. I know this substance coming like bleaching substance for cleaning the floor of bathroom.

Great location, rooms are very clean, A/C, staff is friendly.

Weird smell in bathroom, mystery sludge in some bathroom stalls. No curtains in bedrooms so not much privacy.

Very good

The hostel has a very good location, not far from the Kaohsiung MRT Sanduo shopping district exit 4. The staffs r very friendly and helpful. They also keeps this hostel quite clean. It is rather social if u r looking for somewhere very very quiet,this might not be ur cup of tea. I stayed on Sat and they had a “tipsy night” to offer a glass of cocktail on the house. I was not there when it happened. But I’m sure ppl would like to have a relaxing night during weekend. This would be good option if u wanna a place to be near MRT and to meet ppl.

This hostel has no elevator. Just in case if any of u would be carrying a lot of luggage.
